Want to get smarter about wine?  Want to learn the difference between Brett and TCA?  There are a number of certified wine educators who regularly conduct classes throughout San Diego County, and you can now let your fingers do the walking by clicking on the links below.

The best classes give you a solid background in wine history, teach you how to read labels (even the Germans…whew!!!), how to properly store and serve wine, and—the part you’ve been waiting for—how to taste wine and discern critical differences by variety and geography.

But before you sign up, ask questions and make sure the class focuses on the things you want to learn.  Some educators offer both introductory and advanced classes, kind of like English 101/201.  Others offer full-blown certification courses for those who want to get into the business.
