You’ve got to watch this video.

Most wine and food matchup stories are ho-hum, but occasionally someone stretches the envelope and does something interesting.  What’s rare is to find one that is interesting, informative, and HILARIOUS!

Watch Madeline Puckette, who writes a blog called Wine Folly, tackle some seriously spicy Thai noodles with gobs of Sriracha chile sauce.  She matches this fiery stuff with a range of still wines, Porto, and even bourbon, to see what goes best.  She is thoroughly entertaining and you’ve got to love someone who tortures herself to find the best wine/food matchups for her readers. You can almost see the smoke coming out of her ears…
