On Saturday November 10th SDWS Solana Beach had the pleasure of hosting Mark Davidowski, owner of Napa based Hiatus Cellars for a grand tasting of his latest wines.  SDWS members and guests were treated to Mark’s current range of chardonnays, pinot noirs, cabernets and meritage blends.

Mark walked us through his single vineyard selections and presented his yet-to-be-released APEX red wine, which was stunning in its richness, balance and complexity.  One of our members remarked that it was rare that he went to a winery tasting where all the wines were good–this was one of them!
