World Atlas of WineA go-to wine resource is going online—We own a lot of wine books, but probably the one we use the most is Jancis Robinson’s World Atlas of Wine.  The good thing is that it is one of the best wine resources around; the bad is that it weighs a TON!  In October you will be able to purchase the new, 7th Edition, online, which not only eliminates the weight problem but gives you so much more:  interactive maps, galleries of wine labels, and a note-taking feature.  And best of all, it costs half as much as the printed edition.  Find out more about this staple of wine information.

Coravin wine preserverA game-changer wine preserver–We have posted a few blogs on the pros and cons of various wine preservation systems, but now one has managed to turn the wine world’s head.  The Coravin 1000 is getting a lot of press, and Rob McMillan at SVB On Wine gives us a convincing and entertaining argument on why this device belongs in your wine accessory drawer.
